OnLine Catalog
You can search the library catalog in the Church Library (use the laptop near the door) or from home (use this link: www.librarycat.org/lib/gloriadeidg )
WHERE IS THE CHURCH LIBRARY?
The Library is at the east end of the Gathering Area - opposite the sanctuary. Please be sure to visit!
WHY DO WE HAVE A CHURCH LIBRARY?
The Library has materials for your spiritual and recreational reading. Most materials reflect Lutheran doctrines and perspectives.
WHAT IS IN THE CHURCH LIBRARY?
The library has materials for ALL church members and visitors - young and old! We have books, CDs, and DVDs. If you need assistance when library volunteers are unavailable, please email library@gloriadeichurch.org for help.
HOW DO I CHECK THINGS OUT OF/RETURN THINGS TO THE CHURCH LIBRARY?
Check out—There are instructions for checking out library materials on the shelf inside the front door (next to the computer), but it is easy! Please print your name and email address or phone number on the white card that you’ll find inside the book (usually inside the back cover, but not always) and put that card in the little basket on the file cabinet to the left of the computer stand. Replace the white card with a blue due-date slip (also in the little basket).
Return—Please put returned library materials in the large basket to the left of the computer stand in the library OR in the black box that is outside the library door on the left.
HOW CAN I HELP IN THE CHURCH LIBRARY?
The Library is run by volunteers, and we would welcome your participation! Please email library@gloriadeichurch.org for more information.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE CHURCH LIBRARY?
The Library has a materials budget provided by the church, but memorials and special gifts from individuals and groups are welcome. We also accept donated books. If donated materials meet library needs, they are added to the collection; otherwise, we’ll find another home for them. Questions? Just email library@gloriadeichurch.org.
